Meringandan West Trunk Water Main Construction Supervision

Crucible was engaged by Toowoomba Regional Council to manage the design and construction of a trunk water main at Meringandan between Klein Road and Meringandan-Goombungee. Crucible reviewed tenders, provided technical advisory support and managed the construction of the project as the superintendent’s representative.

The project was completed under a design and construction contract by Chris Buckley Plumbing with a delivered capital project value of approximately $1.4m. The works included approximately 3000m of DN150 trunk water main laid along Main Street through Meringandan township and along Meringandan-Goombungee Road.

The works included several road underbores, a significant creek crossing and construction of a PRV pit.
