Thargomindah STP Upgrade Study and Concept Design

Crucible in partnership with Brandon Associates was engaged by Bulloo Shire Council to undertake a planning assessment and concept design for the upgrading of the existing sewage treatment facility for the township of Thargomindah.
Crucible undertook a detailed assessment of the key requirements for the treatment plant, determining that a 400EP capacity replacement plant was needed. Treatment process options were assessed in the context of capacity, effluent quality requirements and operational constraints given the remote location of the township.
Crucible prepared a concept design and specification for the replacement treatment plant. The documentation was used for Council to seek support a funding application for project and for tendering of the works.
